CONFUSION OR AN ILLUSTION
CONFUSION OR AN ILLUSTION
BY Joshmin J.
James was sleeping on his bed. He was thinking what will be there for today’s dinner. Then he felt hungry. So he got up and went downstairs leaving the door open. When he went down he saw his room. He was puzzled and he went down again but he reached the same floor. He went down again and again but it was the same floor. Then he went inside his room and it was normal but when he turned the door was closed. When he opened the door he saw a corridor of a building he used to play hide and seek when he was small. He started to walk forward just then the door closed behind him. Then he panicked and tried to open the door but it was not opening. He started kicking the door but it was of no use. The only option he had in his mind was to walk to the end of the corridor. Then he thought to try to open the door for the last time. This time the door opened. He was happy that at last he could go back to his room and use his phone to call his mom and tell her to come upstairs. When he opened the door he was disappointed. He saw a road with streetlights. When he turned back the door disappeared. Just then the lights went out. James felt afraid. Just then the light came back. James sighed with relief. When he turned back he saw a small hut out of nowhere. He opened the door of the hut and a bright light came out of the door
And when James stepped in he was in his room and it was
morning. Then the door opened behind him and his mother came in and said, “Oh
so now you are awake now. So explain to me why you woke me up by running up and
down the stairs with your eyes closed at night”.
THE END
